SEDGEBERROW

Sedgeberrow is a picturesque village and civil parish in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire, England, situated approximately 3 miles south of Evesham. Nestled beside the River Isbourne, a tributary of the River Avon, Sedgeberrow offers a tranquil rural setting with a rich historical backdrop.

St. Mary the Virgin Church, consecrated in 1331, stands as a testament to the village's medieval heritage. The church features a small western bell tower with a spire and three bells, the oldest of which was cast in 1623. The village also boasts several 17th-century half-timbered cottages.

Sedgeberrow is home to an excellent Church of England First School, serving the educational needs of the local community. The village hall serves as a hub for various activities and The Queens Head pub and well renowned Indian restaurant is very much a traditional ‘local’ and gives a real sense of community.

With its blend of historical architecture, active community life, and scenic surroundings, Sedgeberrow offers a charming glimpse into rural English village life.
