Joe Chatterton
With a career built on the belief that estate agency should be more personal and more affordable, Joe is known for his tireless work ethic and his ‘customer first’ philosophy
When he isn’t navigating the local property market, Joe is usually found outside. A passionate gardener and carpenter, he brings the same patience and attention to detail to his home projects as he does to his valuations. Whether he’s cultivating a perfect landscape or crafting a custom piece of furniture, Joe understands that a home is more than just bricks and mortar; it’s a labour of love.
It is this appreciation for craftsmanship that gives Joe a unique edge when advising vendors on how to present their homes. He doesn’t just see a floor plan; he sees the potential in every room and every garden.
With decades of experience in estate agency, Joe still finds immense reward in the daily challenges of the job. For him, estate agency is about problem-solving and people – and many of his clients have become lifelong friends. This personal touch is the heartbeat of Chatterton Estate Agents.
Since that first ‘For Sale’ board went up in 2015, Joe’s pride in the Chatterton name has never wavered. When he isn’t being a father to three or walking the family dogs, you’ll likely find him seeking peace in the fresh air by our stunning local river with a fishing rod in hand.
Claire Chatterton
Claire didn’t set out to be an estate agent, but her background makes her uniquely suited for it. With a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, followed by a career in teaching, she spent 15 years mastering the arts of communication, organisation, and calm under pressure. These skills became the foundation of Chatterton Estate Agents when she and Joe turned a ‘glass of wine’ dream into a reality in 2015.
The jump from teaching to business-owning was a leap of faith, but one that paid off instantly. Claire still remembers the thrill of their very first sale – secured on just their second day of marketing for a property that had previously sat stagnant with two other agents. Since then, she has been the driving force behind the ‘five-star service’ that defines the agency.
Operating from the heart of the family home, Claire balances the intricate demands of the business with the busy lives of their three children, Maisie-Anne, Max, and Grace. Whether she is crafting beautiful property brochures or navigating complex negotiations, Claire’s goal is always the same: to alleviate the stress of moving. For Claire, there is no better feeling than making that final ‘completion’ call and handing over keys to a happy new homeowner.

Anna Field
Anna’s entry into estate agency in 1999 was a classic ‘baptism of fire.’ While navigating her first home purchase, a chance conversation with her agent led to a career change that would shape her professional life. Joining a high-volume office in Evesham, she was thrown into a world of rigorous training and high targets, quickly becoming an expert in the field. It was during these foundational years that she first worked alongside Joe Chatterton, marking the beginning of a lifelong professional bond.
Anna’s journey eventually led her to fulfil a long-term dream: opening and running her own successful coffee shop. This chapter as a business owner sharpened her customer service skills and gave her a deep appreciation for the local community. After a period as a stay-at-home mum to her son, Harry, the call of the property world brought her back. When Joe and Claire reached out to offer her a role at Chatterton Estate Agents, she jumped at the chance to join the team she knew and trusted.
Anna has seen the industry transform from the days of paper applicant cards and physical maps to today’s digital-first landscape. She embraces modern technology as a tool that allows her to focus on what truly matters: the people. By utilising online insights to better inform buyers, she frees up her time to do what she does best – alleviating the ‘tricky bits’ of a sale and ensuring a smooth journey toward completion day.
Outside of work, Anna is a self-confessed ‘home enthusiast’. She and her husband are currently renovating a 1960s original, giving her a keen eye for property potential. When she isn’t managing a renovation, she loves cooking, growing vegetables and cut flowers with Harry, or walking George, her energetic Sprocker, through the local countryside.
Sandra Francis
Having lived in the beautiful market town of Evesham all my life, I truly couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. At 75 years young, I bring a lifetime of local knowledge, experience, and a genuine passion for the area to my role with the agency.
As your dedicated Saturday viewing specialist, I love spending my weekends meeting new people and showing prospective buyers around what could become their next home.
Saturdays are often the busiest and most exciting days for property hunting, and I take great pride in making sure your viewings are relaxed, welcoming, and informative.

My connection to the town runs deep—I attended school here throughout my childhood, raised my two wonderful children here, and now enjoy seeing my five grandchildren grow up in the same community I have always loved.
